CHRISPUNK
ChrisPunk, aka Christian Corbetta was born in Bollate in 1977, and began playing the bass guitar at the age of 16, initially self-taught and then formed at the “Villa Lobos” academy in Paderno Dugnano.
Over the years, he plays in various groups in the Milanese hinterland (Fata Morgana, Insolite Frequenze, Black Velvet, Take it Easy, Balla coi gufi and Fabrygore & the Steam Band) where his live experience comes to its fruition.
Meeting Maestro Lucio Enrico Fasino is crucial for his technical and cultural growth, growth that later continues with Maestro Alessandro Cassani.
His reference artists are Pino Palladino for the Groove, Chris Wolstenholme for the sound, and John Deacon for his effectiveness and for the iconic bass lines that will remain in history.
Christian considers himself a solid bassist, serving the band and the music.
