ANDY ZAMB
Andy Zamb, aka Andrea Zambonin. Electric guitarist of the Steam Band, born in the province of Milan in 1977, Andy began playing by ear listening to his father and uncle who played the legends on the guitar: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Dire Straits…
At 15 his passion grew and he approached the instrument more seriously, studying self-taught and with various teachers; At 18 he found himself involved as lead guitarist in the first rock cover groups: from Vasco to Queen, also taking part in the writing of original songs such as “La Sposa del Vento” and many others.
In 2003 he accepted the proposal to participate in a project which later proved to be very long-lived and successful; or the Depeche Mode tribute (M4TM) where he met co-founder Fabrizio Ponti (FabryGore – Keyboards and vocals).
In 2015 he joined the FabryGore & The Steam Band project (after more than 10 years of collaboration with Fabry) which still sees him as a protagonist today!
