Zen O'Clock

Zen O’Clock, aka Alessandro Zenesini, was born in Milano in 1977; his first approach to music began at the age of 15 studying guitar, partly out of curiosity and partly to follow his father’s footsteps, a professional drummer for about 5 years.

Studia chitarra e solfeggio per circa 4 anni, presso l'accademia Villa Lobos di Paderno Dugnano, con il maestro Alessio Sabino, per poi passare alla batteria all'età di 19 anni e studiare con il maestro Tony Arco per circa 2 anni.

Insieme a Chris Punk e altri 3 membri fondano la loro prima band, Fata Morgana, successivamente negli anni suona con varie band, Rock, Rockabilly, Hard Rock e Pop.

Come ultimo miglioramento, negli ultimi anni, per esigenze sceniche, ha iniziato a suonare con la sequenza e quindi con l'uso del click che ne ha migliorato il timing ed il groove.

Zen O’Clock considers himself as a drummer who must provide the band with a solid rhythmic base, without too many frills, thus guaranteeing a powerful but at the same time stable rhythm section.
